Samsung's projector-equipped Galaxy Beam now available in the UK
Sasmung's Galaxy Beam, one of the company's most unique handesets, is now available in the UK, albeit a little later than pre-orders had originally suggested. Previously shown off at Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy Beam is equipped with a 15-lumen projector that can be used to display HD images and video up to 50 feet wide. Aside from the obvious gimmick, the device includes a 4-inch WVGA display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and a 1GHz dual-core processor. So unless you absolutely must have a way to instantly share spreadsheets and YouTube videos with your colleagues, there is probably little reason to even consider picking this phone up.
