Thoughts about human factors and ergonomics-Sneka
This paper provides an elaborate description on improving the human computer interaction. The first topic on anthropometry was very interesting but I have serious doubts on whether it would be cost effective to manufacture such a varied range of mobile devices? The "orientation and movement sensors" under the input section looks like a sensible way of handling the mobile devices as it avoids unintended ways of showing data. There is a huge array of methods on alphanumeric input but I find it difficult to understand the nature of the applications that might use the unique kind of keyboards as in "stick keyboards". The output and interaction sections were easy to understand as it is closely associated with the way the real world mobile devices work.
