Bugle
is a mobile website that helps bridge the disconnect between volunteers and volunteering
organizations. It provides a platform for volunteers interested to participate
in volunteering events that suit their interests. It also helps organizations
searching for the enthusiastic volunteers who share their passion.
Features:
- Mobile website – works on both iOS and Android.
- Users can sign up and create a profile using their email, or they can Sign up using their Google account (extra credit).
- Users can create profiles by adding user details and a short description about themselves.
- Organizations can host new volunteering events.
- Volunteers can view organization profiles.
- Volunteers can view different volunteering events categorized by Organizations and apply for events that they are interested in.
- Organizations can view profiles of volunteers who have applied to their events.
- Organizers can view a list of volunteers who have applied and approve/reject volunteers.
- Google Maps Integration for adding and viewing event locations (extra credit).
- Real time Chats for volunteers to communicate with organizers and other volunteers for an event.

- Integration with Been Verified for background verification.
- Profile Rating system and adding Profile Pictures in User profile.
- Facebook integration (sharing events to Facebook and Login using Facebook).
- Push Notifications for chat messages on mobile devices.
- Email verification and Captcha integration to enable password reset using email.
